A new tour has just been announced and dates added to the gig list on the left - dates begin 30th March through to mid May! Check to see if Eliza (with the Ratcatchers chasing vermin behind her) are coming nearby to you!

Eliza has been recruited (along with Bono and Bryan Ferry amongst others) by Johnny Depp to create an album which will be released to the shops as well as featuring on the third Pirates of the Caribbean film!
Eliza said "It was Johnny's idea. He thought that pirates should be singing these tunes on the boat during the film. The producers liked the idea and let him record this album." (quote stolen from www.entertainmentwise.com).
Rumours from another website infer that it was Liza's rendition of "Just when the tide was flowing" that got Johnny interested in our lass.

Big congratulations to Robert Shaw from Bispham for getting the right answer to the Eliza Competition run last month. Bob will shortly be getting two full passes to the Wychwood Festival later in the year, which is featuring Liza as one of the main performers.
Thanks for the hundreds of entries that we recieved ... we'll see about running some more competitions as there's obviously plenty of interest out there!

Beverley Folk Festival has announced the visit of top crime writer, Peter Robinson to its event in June and Eliza will be part of the action.

Just a reminder to say that Eliza and the Ratcatchers are about to start a full UK tour - the first in a while for the group. The 14 date tour ranges from Manchester to Cornwall, and ends (after a LOT of miles) at a hometown gig in Edinburgh.
Tickets are selling fast - so to be sure of a seat, get your orders in quick!
